I hate the beatles. Alot. And no I won't give them credit as a historical or cultural figure. Their succes was a sign of the impending tidal wave of market-exploitation of music. Like a poop storm, the beatles tied rock to money. Further more, they killed Jazz and made it okay to write boring songs. Lame asses, every last one. But people can't get past their nostalgia, I guess. So just sit back and turn on the 45 minute girl thingy-fart that is Sgt. Pecker and let yourself get caught up in the big history/cool british swindle. f**k you.

neither elvis, nor sinatra had nearly the impact that the beatles did, and I would argue that around the time that jazz was ass-f**ked by white kids with electric guitars, the dominant teenage movement was being spearheaded by those four british pigeon turds everyone seems to have a hardon for. f**k the beatles.
